Book Synopsis
Life can change in an instant-- in a phone call, a collision or a diagnosis. It’s what happens next, the response, which can be transcendent in its power to transform lives.
In more than 20 years as a TV journalist, traveling to war zones and interviewing peacemakers, I’ve reported the power of life-changing experiences, including my own. I’m writing a book about saints, sinners, and fascinating people in between—a book predicated on the theory that everyone has a story; an "instant"—from Mother Teresa, to a mother honoring a transplant wish, to a murderer on death row.
It’s about turning points in the lives of the famous and the infamous—a book about connecting, growing and walking through pain to peace.
